Recommended. An intriguing mixture of philosophy, religion and science that will knock your socks off. This book will make you jaw drop and eyebrows skyrocket. It connects the dots and asks the right questions.
Another, highly recommendable, more recent book in the same tradition is Lynne McTaggart's "The Field". Considering that it first came out in 1991 with dozens of books published on higher consciousness ever since, Talbot's talent becomes even more obvious. Michael Talbot's "The Holographic Universe" is one of the best and most meticulously researched books ever written by someone who does not promote his or her own ideas and views (such as a scientist/researcher) but rather puts together current scientific and spiritual thinking as it is. Definitely a must read for everyone in search of knowledge and understanding about the world in which we live.
Otherwise, a great book. This is a great book that gives a clear perspective on the way this 3D realm operates. The author lost me in the significance of UFO paradigms and the holographic universe, so I will go and seek deeper Jungian understanding of this possibility and re-read those sections.
We are very much connected to one another and we share more than we recognize in this very materialistic, tactile world. But folks are waking up and recognize war for the racket that it is and the money changers who profit. This book is referenced by David Icke and I purchased it largely because he spoke to it in his many taped dialogues. It is wonderfull to be alive in a era that recognizes our humanity, togetherness, despite living concurrently in a era that seems to feel that war remains a viable instrument to impact people. Hopefully, more readers will enjoy this volume on the multiple levels of awareness that it offers the world. I regard the book as being current on the new physics and its relationship to the body. We are more than merely 5 senses and we are capable on many levels of being greater than we know, while this is a given, it is difficult to express verbally or to share.
I wish I read this book sooner. I have done my own personal research to so many things, and I think this book really does a great job in explaining many of life's occurances.
